RUSEAS BROTHERSISTER FOUNDATION INC.
Fact Sheet
Organizational Formation and Governance:
1. Incorporated in May 2020 and registered as a 501(c)3 charitable organization..Donations are
tax deductible in the U.S.
2. Established a Board of Directors comprised of 11 members who operate purely on a
voluntary basis and are not compensated in any way for their services
3. There are 5 committees led by Directors of the board. We welcome volunteers from the
general public willing to lend their support to any of these committees.

4. Established the BroSis website which you can access at “ruseasbrosis.com”. We are
continuing our development of the website to improve the content and look and feel.
5. Established varying social media platforms (WhatsApp, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram) to
facilitate connectivity and engagement of members and the general public
6. Registered the Rusea’s BrotherSister Foundation with the Companies Office of Jamaica.
Initiatives to support both Rusea’s High School and the community:
7. During the height of the covid pandemic, established an internet domain for Rusea’s to
facilitate online learning and communication between the 100+ Faculty and 2,000+ students
8. Painted the entire main campus
9. Built a pump house for the irrigation system at the Collin Miller Sports Complex
10.Donated 16 tablets to the principal and Rusea’s High School.
11. Plans to build website for Rusea’s High School – looking for volunteers with expertise in
website development to help with this
12.Promote learning and information sharing opportunities through our varying social media
platforms:
○ Math and English tutorials that are accessible to all globally through our Youtube
channel
○ Empowerment nights featuring a wide range of individuals
○ Sports talk
○ WhatsApp group sharing varying topics on health, music, gospel and promoting
togetherness amongst alumni
13.Provided Christmas luncheon to the mentally challenged at a Bronx mental health facility
Colin Miller Sports Complex:
14.Revised the architectural design of the changing room facility to a more modern looking
design
15.Proposal of the design and development reviewed and approved by the Rusea’s HS Board of
trustees and the Ministry of Education
16. Received the seal of Approval/The Sport Complex Plan was sent to Parish Council. (Awaiting
Final Approval).
17.Tentative Ground-Breaking Date Saturday December 17 (Fundraising
weekend Dec 16-18).
Fundraising Activities:
18.Raised over $50,000.00 during the height of the Pandemic. (Approximately over $7.5 Million
Jamaican Dollars).
19.Membership dues $120/year ($100 if paid upfront) – runs from July 1 – June 30th
20.Building Block Drive (To Assist in the Building Of the Sports Complex)
21.Events – such as the Blue & White event
22.General donations and sponsorships
